SMALL-BUSINESS WEBSITE DESIGN
Small-business website design built around the customer journey
A practical multi-page website for businesses that need distinct service explanations, stronger navigation and room to earn trust before a visitor contacts them.
Page count, integrations, content responsibility and launch timing are defined in the proposal—not assumed.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
A useful customer path—not just a prettier page.
Information architecture
Services, proof, company information and contact paths are organized into pages with a clear purpose.
Service pages
Each important service gets enough space to explain the problem, scope, process, limits and appropriate next action.
Trust content
Real experience, policies, examples and customer-approved evidence are placed where they help a decision.
Technical foundations
Metadata, canonical URLs, crawlable navigation, sitemaps and structured data are implemented where they accurately describe the page.
Conversion review
Forms, calls, booking links and confirmation messages are checked as complete user paths rather than decorative buttons.
Handoff clarity
The delivered scope states who owns the domain, hosting, content updates, third-party accounts and future maintenance.
THE PROCESS
Small steps with visible review points.
- 01
Map the customer action
We identify the call, form, booking, quote or other action the page must make easier.
- 02
Confirm the facts
You approve the services, service area, contact details, images and claims before they are presented as business information.
- 03
Review the build
You receive a review link and check the mobile layout, wording, links and conversion path before publication.
- 04
Publish and verify
After approval, we publish the agreed pages, test the important actions and document the delivered scope.
PROOF, NOT PROMISES
More pages do not automatically create more authority.
Every indexable page should answer a distinct customer need. We prefer a smaller, browseable structure with original information over many weak pages built only to capture keyword variations.
Real business expertise, clear service limits, accurate company information and an understandable next action matter more than repeating a target phrase.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Know the limits before work starts.
How many pages should a small-business website have?
Enough to separate genuinely different customer needs. A typical structure may include home, core services, about, examples and contact, but the correct count depends on what customers must understand before contacting the business.
Can you rewrite our existing content?
Yes, when included in scope. You remain responsible for confirming factual accuracy, licenses, credentials, prices, policies and claims before publication.
Can you connect forms to our CRM?
Potentially. The proposal must identify the CRM, fields, permissions, error handling, notification behavior and testing environment. A simple contact form and a production CRM integration are different scopes.
What happens after launch?
You receive the agreed handoff, and any ongoing hosting, updates, analytics or maintenance follow a separately stated service period. There is no automatic renewal unless it is explicitly authorized.

START WITH ONE DECISION
What should a customer be able to do next?
Share the business, service area and outcome you want. We’ll recommend the smallest useful scope and explain what would remain outside it.
